I have always dreamed of having an epic treehouse with lots of bells and whistles and now that I have the skills to design and build one, why not? My kids have also been involved in the design and testing process which has given them some ownership in it as well. I saved all of these trees from the chipper when the lot next to mine was cleared for construction. They have been perfect for building a treehouse without the concerns of protecting them from the weather. All of the branches and trunks will remain unfinished to preserve the natural rustic beauty as much as possible.

This by no means replaces the need for an outdoor treehouse as well but this will suffice until at least next summer!
